CD Press Release

Cappuccino and Blues, released on December 7, 2009, is a debut full length studio album by harmonica player, composer, and song writer, Henryk M. The album had been played for a week on Radio 7 station right before Christmas.

All songs on Cappuccino and Blues are original instrumental compositions by Henryk M, produced and recorded by Henryk M. The album was mixed and mastered by Alcatrax recording studio in Toronto. Henryk M’s first recordings were released to only a group of friends on a demo album Blues from Home in 2008. Some sound tracks from that album (Blues about My Wife, and Twisted Boogie) were re-recorded and included in the Cappuccino and Blues.

Henryk M’s music is influenced by Little Walter, James Cotton, John Mayall, Paul Butterfield, and Charlie Musslewhite. Henryk’s career spans over 20 years and includes guest appearances and jamming sessions with musicians and bands in Germany, Poland, Canada, and the US, such as “Luisiana Red”, Dave Kelly of “The Blues Band”, Colin Hodgkinson of the “Spencer Davis Group” and Rick Lee of the “Ten Years After”, and many other musicians. Henryk M is a self-taught musician. Hovewer, he has been studying harmonica under Carlos del Junco, Jerome Godboo, and Mark “Bird” Stafford.
